Schöne Tischzither des Westerwälder Gitarrenbaumeisters Jörg Coura. Wahrscheinlich in den 1980er Jahren gebaut.
Das Instrument kann wie ein Dulcimer gespielt werden. Es besitzt 3 Chöre zu je 2 Saiten (Melodiesaiten), die über ein diatonisches Griffbrett laufen. Dazu kommen 4 Resonanz-Saiten, die im Wesentlichen als Drones benutzt werden. Momentan gestimmt in ee-ee-aa-A-A-A-A.
Schön gearbeiteter Mahagoni-Korpus mit Herringbone Inlay, Fichtendecke mit blütenförmigen Schall-Loch mit Perlmutt-Einlage. Innen gelabelt.
Das Instrument hat einige Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, die Volute am Wirbelkopf ist restauriert. Die Saiten müssten erneuert werden. Etwas reinigungsbedürftig. Toller Klang und gute Bespielbarkeit. Das Raffele kommt ohne Koffer.

A beautiful table zither by Jörg Coura, a master luthier from the Westerwald region. Probably built in the 1980s.
The instrument can be played like a dulcimer. It has 3 courses, each with 2 strings (melody strings), which run across a diatonic fingerboard. In addition, there are 4 resonance strings, which are primarily used as drones.
Beautifully crafted mahogany body with herringbone inlay, spruce top with a flower-shaped soundhole featuring a mother-of-pearl inlay. Labeled on the inside.
The instrument shows some signs of age and wear; the volute on the peghead has been restored. The strings need to be replaced. Great sound and good playability. The Raffele comes without a case.
