Well-preserved and top-of-the-line classic 5-string banjo made by Clifford Essex & Son, London in 1928.

The serial is 1537, stamped on the dowelstick. Original and good working tuners and tailpiece. Straight neck with good frets and perfect binding.

New added Remo Fiberskyn 11″ head and Bart Veerman maple bridge. Setup with medium gauge strings.

The instrument is ready to play with some minimal signs of age and use. Only the resonator has 2 minimal losses in the veneer and a restored part at the edge.
