Tolles Tenor-Banjo von Paramount, gefertigt in hübschem Palisander. Das Modell Leader steht in Qualität und Klang noch über dem Style C. Ein wirklich wunderbares Instrument, perfekt und durchsetzungsstark für jede Trad Session.
Die Seriennummer 9627 befindet sich wie üblich am Kessel und Dowelstick. Das Instrument wurde also um 1926 in New York gefertigt. Seitdem hat es viel erlebt, wie kleinere Kratzer und Bestoßungen am Resonator belegen.
Länge 87cm, Mensur 58cm, Sattelbreite 29mm
Der Zustand des Banjos ist gut, es gibt nur oberflächliche Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, besonders am Resonator. Irisches Setup mit Besaitung in GDAE, neuem Steg und transparentem Remo-Fell. Das Instrument klingt und spielt toll, mit flacher Saitenlage und geradem Hals. Der antike Koffer ist stark gebraucht, erfüllt aber noch seinen Zweck.

A great tenor banjo from Paramount, crafted from beautiful rosewood. The Leader model surpasses the Style C in both quality and sound. A truly wonderful instrument, perfect and assertive for any trad session.
The serial number 9627 is located, as usual, on the body and dowel stick. The instrument was therefore made in New York around 1926. It has seen a lot of use since then, as evidenced by minor scratches and dents on the resonator.
Length 87 cm, scale length 58 cm, nut width 29 mm
The banjo is in good condition, with only superficial signs of age and wear, particularly on the resonator. It features an Irish setup with GDAE tuning, a new bridge, and a transparent Remo head. The instrument sounds and plays great, with low string action and a straight neck. The antique case shows heavy wear but still serves its purpose.
