We are happy to present this superb Gibson conversion banjo by bluegrass hall of fame master luthier Norbert Pietsch, Bremen Germany.
The serial 8445-6 is stamped on the 1926 prewar pot, also signed on the resonator. Prewar metal parts, such as shoes and diamond flange. New age Kershner tailpiece.
The pot has been converted for a 20-hole Jerry Sloan flathead tonering. The conversion neck is made of maple and an ebony fingerboard with RB-1 inlays.
